nRF24LE1 Preliminary Product Specification
written a minimum of 20000 times as opposed to 1000 for the ‘normal’ flash based NVM. The different
parts of the memory can be accessed by the MCU through normal code and data space operations.
Configuration and setup of the memory behavior during normal mode (that is, when MCU is running appli-
cation code) is defined by data stored in a separate InfoPage. During the chip reset/start-up sequence the
configuration data in the InfoPage is read and stored in the memory configuration SFR’s.
6.3.1
The on-chip flash memory is divided into 2 blocks, the 16k + 1.5k NVM main block (MB) and a 512 byte
Information Page (IP).
The memory configuration is stored in the InfoPage (IP) and the following configuration can be done:
All configuration of the flash memory must be done through the external SPI interface. The configuration
information is stored in the InfoPage during programming of the device and is read out to the flash configu-
ration SFR’s during each reset/startup sequence of the circuit.
6.3.1.1
The InfoPage is a separate page (512bytes) of flash memory that contain Nordic system tuning parame-
ters and the configurable options of the flash memory. Any changes to the flash memory configuration
must be done by updating this page. The InfoPage content is as follows:
