5. This opens the “JTAG Chain Setup Properties” dialog box. Ensure that the “Set Pins/Flow Control” tab

is selected, and set up the window with the following selections (based on Figure 3 of this tutorial). The
proper selections are shown in Figure 50. Under “Flow Control”, select Option 3. In the “Set Pins” box,
set up the ports as follows:
– Port A: set all the pins to “OUTPUT LOW (CMOS)”
– Port B: set pins pb7 to pb3 to “INPUT (HI-Z)”, and pins pb2 to pb0 to “OUTPUT LOW CMOS)”
– Port C: change pc3 to “TSTAT (CMOS)”, and pc4 to “TERR (CMOS)”. Leave the rest of the pins as
– Port D: set pins pd1 and pd0 to “INPUT (HI-Z)”, and pd2 to “OUTPUT HIGH (CMOS)”
they are.
