9. Electrical Characteristics
The electrical characteristics of a device depend on its design and intended application.
Device signals that are protocol-compliant must conform with a set of electrical operating
characteristics for that protocol. DC electrical characteristics for a device define parameters
such as supply, input, and output voltages. AC characteristics specify the input requirements
(for example, setup and hold times) and output responses (that is, delays from clock to signal)
