In the reset mode the DFE-T V2.2 does not transmit any signals. The chip is in the
“Reset” state. All echo canceller and equalizer coefficients are reset. As can be seen
from the state diagram, no activation is possible if the device is in the “Reset” state.
For measurements two methods are recommended in order to transfer the U-transceiver
into the master-reset mode:

The reset test mode is used for the return-loss measurements.
