RXK2 (Receive K2 Line Overhead Status Register)
The RXK2 register contains the received K2 Line Overhead byte. The K1 byte and bits 0–5 of the K2 byte are
allocated for APS signaling between line level entities. Bits 6-8 of the K2 byte indicate bidirectional or
unidirectional APS. Bits 6-8 are also used to indicate Line AIS and RDI conditions. These bytes are defined
only for the first STS-1 of the STS-3.
RXK3 (Receive Z4/K3 Path Overhead Status Register)
The RXK3 register contains the received Z4/K3 Path Overhead byte.
