Address Bits A(0:3) (demultiplexed bus type)
Multiplexed Bus Mode: Address/Data Bus. Transfers
addresses from the host to JADE and data between the
host and the JADE
Demultiplexed Bus Mode: Data bus. Transfers data
between the host and the JADE
Data Strobe.
The rising edge marks the end of a valid read or write
operation (Motorola bus mode).
Read.
This signal indicates a read operation (Siemens/Intel
bus mode).
Read/Write.
A 1 (“high”) identifies a valid host access as a read
operation. A 0 identifies a valid host access as a write
operation (Motorola bus mode)
Write.
This signal indicates a write operation (Siemens/Intel
bus mode).
Chip Select.
Address Latch Enable.
A “high” on this line indicates an address on AD(0:7)
(multipexed bus mode only). ALE also selects the
interface mode
