The security feature of the TMP1940FDBF flash memory prevents the stored data from being read
while it is being re-programmed with programming equipment. The TMP1940FDBF also allows the
user to protect individual blocks of the flash memory against program or erase through software
commands; however, 12-V VPP programming does not support data protection on a block-by-block
basis.
