10.16 General-purpose I/O unit
11 programmable general-purpose I/Os are provided on the SA2443A.
Each GPIO can be configured as either an input or an output. Registers are provided to
allow data to be written to and read from the GPIO pins.
When configured as an input the circuit can be configured as plain, pull-up, pull-down or
repeater (the repeater option allows the last driven state on the pin to be held).
