The products in the Z8 Encore! XP F1680 Series contain a main on-chip crystal oscillator
for use with external crystals with 1 MHz to 20 MHz frequencies, and a secondary 32 K
crystal oscillator. In addition, the external oscillator supports external 
RC networks with oscillation frequencies up to 4 MHz. 32 K secondary crystal oscillator
has no external RC oscillator mode. The on-chip crystal oscillator can be used to 
generate the primary system clock for the internal eZ8 CPU and the majority of the 
on-chip peripherals. And the secondary 32 K crystal oscillator can only be used to
generate clock for three timers.
