that space is defined and reserved for functions to be implemented in follow-on versions of the device. An
undefined field indicates that nothing has been defined or reserved and is available for further definition if
necessary. An undefined field may also be identified by an em dash “—”. Reading reserved and undefined
fields results in undefined values to be returned (in most cases a value of 0 will be returned).
