Synchronization States, Acquisition Mode
The second synchronization module (after the Viterbi
Decoder, before the Deinterleaver module) allows three
different state diagrams to be used in the acquisition
phase. The number of properly identified synchronization
words that will cause “in-synchronization” to be declared
can be configured from 3 to 6. For more information see

Synchronization Status, Tracking Mode
The second synchronization module (after the Viterbi
decoder and before the Deinterleaver module) allows two,
three, four, or five undetected synchronization words
before the L64704 declares a loss of sync. For more
