BGMOD
This bit selects the baud rate generator (ASBGEN) mode. Setting it to "1" configures ASBGEN
as the baud rate generator for the Asynchronous Serial Interface (ASI). Resetting it to "0"
selects auto-reload timer (ART) mode. Note that the latter prevents use of the serial port
because there is no baud rate clock to drive the latter's transmitter and receiver.
