11.3.4.2 Store Buffer
The External Memory Controller (XMC) uses a single-stage store buffer to permit access to
internal devices (internal ROM, internal RAM, and control registers for on-chip peripherals)
while it still writing data to external memory or an external device. Because the buffer has only
a single stage, a subsequent external write request has to wait until the current write completes,
freeing that buffer.
