SIOFSYNC: The SIOFSYNC is a frame synchronous (FS) signal. Depending on the transfer
mode, it has the following two functions.
• Synchronous pulse: 1-bit-width pulse indicating the start of the frame
• L/R: 1/2-frame-width pulse indicating the left-channel stereo data (L) in high level and the

Transmit/Receive Timing: The SIOFTXD transmit timing and SIOFRXD receive timing relative
to the SIOFSCK can be set as the sampling timing in the following two ways. The transmit/receive
timing is set using the REDG bit in SIMDR.
• Falling-edge sampling
• Rising-edge sampling
Figure 15.4 shows the transmit/receive timing.
