must be read as a zero before initiating an EEPROM transfer.
When set to a one, indicates that the previous transfer failed (i.e., no
hardware address response).
Reserved for future use.
The 7-bit hardware address for a transfer that indicates the target of the
transfer. The EEPROM has the hardware address of b1010000.
Indicates the desired operation. 0=Write; 1=Read.
The desired byte address of the EEPROM.
