This LSI has a realtime clock (RTC) with its own 32.768-kHz crystal oscillator. A block diagram
of the RTC is shown in figure 15.1.

The RTC has following features:
• Clock and calendar functions (BCD format): Seconds, minutes, hours, date, day of the week,
• 1-Hz to 64-Hz timer (binary format)
