When there are no data transfer instructions being processed simultaneously in parallel with DSP
operation instructions, it is possible to either write NOPX, NOPY instructions or to omit the
instructions. The instruction codes are the same regardless of whether the NOPX, NOPY
instructions are written or omitted. Table 2.44 gives some examples of NOPX and NOPY
instruction codes.
